Hiring an international student or graduate has many benefits. Not only are you bringing on an educated and dedicated employee, but you're providing a student and/or graduate with the opportunity to heighten their experience and appreciation of Canada. It's a worthwhile investment in the labour force of the future. When more diverse minds see the opportunity in Nova Scotia, the more we grow together.

International students may qualify to work off-campus while in school for up to 20 hours per week.

Post-Graduation Work Permit Program
After graduation, an international graduate may be eligible to stay and work in Canada by applying for a post-graduation work permit.
The post-graduation work permit program is designed to provide international students who have graduated from a participating Canadian post-secondary institution with valuable Canadian work experience for up to three years after graduation.
