July 1, 2024
As of July 1, 2024, any NSNP 100 form on which the applicant’s contact information is replaced by a representative’s contact information will be denied at intake. This will apply to both paid and unpaid representatives. This will not change the Immigration and Population Growth (IPG) Branch’s policy of directing all regular correspondence to those listed on the NSNP 50 form.
The Nova Scotia Nominee Program NSNP 100—Application Form for the Principal Applicant is meant to capture the applicant’s information, including their contact information. The NSNP 50—Use of a Representative form is used to capture the information of a representative, either paid or unpaid, who has permission to conduct business on behalf of the applicant. This change is intended to ensure IPG can monitor compliance with program requirements.
Authorized representatives must submit their client applications through their portal account. As of July 1, 2024, IPG will no longer accept applications with an authorized representative submitted outside of the representative’s portal account. This is essential for program compliance and will improve our ability to effectively assess files.
